How to evaluate AI product readiness

Before scaling an AI product, it is worth asking a simple question: is it actually ready? We review readiness across five areas.

Product

Is the customer problem clearly defined? Is the AI solving a real need inside a real workflow?

Technology

Is the architecture ready for more usage? Are integrations and data pipelines dependable?

AI

Are outputs reliable against defined evaluation? Are cost and latency understood at scale?

Operations and commercial

Can the product be supported? Are failure states understood? Is onboarding clear, and are pricing and packaging viable? If any of these answers is "not yet", that is where to focus before scaling.
